Lisa Shankman

Lisa Shankman is a licensed psychotherapist practicing in the Atlanta area. She was trained utilizing the Integrative Family Systems approach while at Northwestern University's Family Institute prior to becoming licensed in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Moreover, she received her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2006 from Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2001 while attending the University of Florida. She has experience working in clinic, community, school and residential settings. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She also integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, Lisa Shankman works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to achieving.
